In early October we met up with Chris, local silviculturist and an all-round awesome guy, to learn about tree health and the role trees (and fungi!) play in the environment. Chris has a long history with trees, from planting 1000s upon 1000s in his university days to working as a certified arborist for decades. He is equally passionate (if not more) about mushrooms and is an avid mushroom gatherer. Get ready to strap on your hiking boots and go for a walk in the woods after this inspiring talk with Chris.
