Thanks to over 140 Thetis Islanders, along with our conservation and funding partners the Cowichan Community Land Trust, the Islands Trust Fund, the Sitka Foundation, the Gosling Foundation and the BC Ministry of Transport, the Fairyslipper Forest Nature Reserve is be a reality. Read the press release issued by the Islands Trust Fund on January 25, 2018. We're working on the covenant, management plan and a nature trail through the reserve. Stay tuned!
